Michael Harden is a Partner and Managing Director of BCC Partners. Mr. Harden is responsible for managing BCC’s Transactions Practice, including sell-side merger & acquisition assignments, capital-raising activities, ESOP structuring & analyses.

Prior to joining BCC Partners, Mr. Harden was a Senior Associate with Credit Suisse First Boston’s (CSFB) Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Group. While at CSFB he was involved in completing numerous buy-side and sell-side advisory assignments. Mr. Harden worked in both CSFB’s New York and San Francisco offices, focused on clients in the energy and technology industries. Prior to joining the M&A group, he participated in the formation of a specialty finance company in Los Angeles that was wholly owned by CSFB. This venture was responsible for originating and structuring cash flow based senior debt loans that were ultimately securitized by CSFB, and while there he completed over $300 million in senior debt financings.

Mr. Harden also has experience as a Business Valuation Consultant with both Arthur Andersen and Coopers & Lybrand, where he performed valuations of business enterprises, closely held stock, partnership interests, debt securities, options and warrants, and intangible assets for a variety of purposes, including acquisitions. Additionally while at Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Harden also performed financial audits of clients in various industries.

Mr. Harden graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics and Accounting. Mr. Harden holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) professional designations. Additionally, he has completed 3 of the 4 courses required for the American Society of Appraisers professional designation. He is a current member of the ESOP Association Finance Advisory Committee.

Mr. Harden holds the Series 7, 24, and 63 NASD/SEC licenses.
